Swimming in the pond

For this post, I decided to do something different. I am going to write a story to go along with a piece of artwork that I made using the two TY Beanie Babies Jake the Duck, one TY Beanie Baby Loosey the Goose and one TY Beanie Baby Gracie the Swan.           One day Jake L the duck decided to invite his friends Loosey the Goose, Gracie the Swan and Jake R the duck for a swim at the local pond. He loved swimming in the pond with his friends. His friend Gracie always felt like an outcast because she looked a lot different than them. The feathers of the others were black, gray, green and brown. While Gracie's feather was all pure white. She didn't understand how beautiful she was so she didn't swim close to her friends. She was afraid that she would ruin the beauty of them. Until one day they told her that she is the most beautiful of them all because to them she looked clean and pure while their feathers made them look dirty.

A Princess Story

        For this post, I decided to do something different. I am going to write a story to go along with a piece of artwork that I made using the TY Beanie Baby Princess.         A long time ago in a faraway land there where there was a kingdom called the Kingdom of Beanie Babies. It was home to where all beanie babies could go to when they felt lost or abandoned.
There was a purple bear who was the princess of the kingdom. She looked very beautiful in the light blue dress that she loved to wear. She lived in a big castle that outlooked the entire kingdom. She is a very friendly princess. She loves to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoys taking walks in the garden and smelling the flowers. She had a big courtyard behind the castle that she lived in. She would play games with her friends in the courtyard. She also practiced archery that she could help protect the people of her kingdom if the time ever arose where she needed to do so.


What I wrote I noticed is more like character information than anything else. I am not good at writing stories but I think it a good thing to add to the blog. I will try to add more to this as the time comes maybe in another post or I might even update this post. If you want to add on to this story just let me know.

TY Teenie Beanie Babies

          In this post, I am going to talk about TY Teenie Beanie Babies. They are a smaller version of the original TY Beanie Babies.  They were distributed through McDonalds in a small plastic bag. They were put in McDonald’s Kids Meals for the toy that came with the meal. Unlike the original TY Beanie Babies, the TY Teenie Beanie Babies do not have their name listed on their tush tag. The tush tag on the TY Teenie Beanie Babies only has the TY symbol on one side and on the other side, they have where they are made and what they are made of.  Here is a list of the TY Teenie Beanie Babies that I own. Snort, Claude the Crab, Inch, ‘Noot the Husky, Splits the Flamingo, Pinky the Flamingo, Smoochy the Frog, Twigs, Ronald McDonald, Stretchy the Ostrich, Bones, Antsy the Anteater, Mel, Woolsy the Sheep, Chip the Cat, Speedy, Neon the Seahorse, and Spunky the Cocker Spaniel. These are all the ones I own so far if I get anymore TY Teenie Beanie Babies, I will update the list of the ones that I own to include them.  

Unique Qualities of Some Beanie Babies

           This post is going to talk about the unique qualities of beanie babies, this will also include the rare aspects of some beanie babies. There are a few beanie babies that have a backpack clip attached to it. I have two of them, the name of the two beanie babies are TY Beanie Baby Hello Kitty and TY Beanie Baby Bo. Another unique call that TY Beanie Baby Batty has is having velcro on it. The velcro is on the beanie baby’s wings so that the wing can be attached to each other the way a bat’s wings wrap around itself when it hangs upside down in a cave, on a tree, or a dark area of a rooftop. There are some rare beanie babies do to it being made differently like TY Beanie Baby Inch the Inchworm was made with strings for the antennas but there is another of it made where the antennas are made of felt fabric. Another beanie baby that has a unique quality is TY Beanie Baby Peace the Bear. Peace the Bear is made up of all the colors of the rainbow. That isn’t what makes it so special though. It is special because each one of them looks different. Just like there are no two snowflakes that look alike. The same thing applies to Peace the Bear.  

Are Beanie Boo the Same as Beanie Babies?

        In this blog post, I am going to talk about a question that some beanie baby lovers ask themselves or other beanie baby lovers. The question that they ask is whether TY Beanie Boos are a part of the beanie baby family or even considered a beanie baby with just a secondary nickname. I am going to talk about both sides of how people can feel like that beanie boos are beanie babies. Beanie babies are made of polyester fibers and P.E. pellets, polyester fibers, and plastic pellets, or polyester fibers and P.V.C. pellets. I ones with P.V.C. pellets are rare because the TY company no longer uses them in the beanie babies that they make. Beanie boos are only made with polyester fibers. What I see is that they both share the commonality of having polyester fibers in them. Another commonality is that both originate from the TY company. Beanie boos are firm like stuffed toys while beanie babies are not firm, and you can feel the pellets that are inside of it. I noticed that some beanie boos share the same name as some of the beanie babies. And that their color formats of the ones with the same names look similar. From my analysis, TY Beanie Boos are not the same as beanie babies even others they both started off from the same company. I would like to hear your comments on this.  

Dale Earnhardt Jr The Bear

         One of the beanie babies that is special to me is the Dale Earnhardt Jr the Bear. As you can see from some of my previous posts that not all of the beanie babies that I collect are TY Beanie Babies. The Dale Earnhardt Jr the Bear is another one of the beanie babies that I collect that isn’t a TY Beanie Baby. The brand of the beanie baby is 23 Karat Gold’n Bears. The bear was made in 1999. The color of the beanie baby is blue with white and black race stripes on its arms. The reason why this beanie baby is so special to me is when I was younger as in mid to late 20’s, I use to watch the Nascar races with my dad and mom. My favorite Nascar race driver is Dale Earnhardt Jr. I cherish all the special moments that I spend with my family. Even though I didn’t have this beanie baby at the time I still cherish it, because it reminds me of those special moments. Bride and Groom

        When I was engaged with my ex-fiance we went to price chopper and I saw the TY Bride and Groom Beanie babies and bought them. We were thinking of including them in the wedding and to have my son be the ring barrier carrying the beanie babies down the aisle. The beanie babies were going to be tied together with a ribbon and the rings were going to be strung onto the ribbon.

 I no longer have the bears. I ended up losing them in between moves. But they are still in my heart and I will always miss them. Someday I will find them again and buy them all over again.
